Relocating back to the UK and starting to navigate the EHC application process, I enlisted the help of and EHCP Consultant, an expert in advising and supporting parents in relation to Education, Health & Care (EHC) Plans. Their support proved to be invaluable during the difficult period of trying to secure my sons' EHC plan. The whole process from request for an EHC Assessment (30th June 2017) to his first day at his specialist school (10th January 2018) was a little over 6 months. I think this is a massive achievement and credit to the support I received from experts, family members, and my sterling stubbornness not to be deterred by any push backs. This drove me to setup my own EHCP Consultancy EHCP Schools, to support other parents in the same situation as myself.

EHCP Schools specialise in helping families navigate special educational needs, including finding suitable schools and assisting with education, health and care plans. We work with pupils who are mainstream cognitively able, whose primary need is ASD, PDA, Aspergers, ADHD, anxiety and depression, Tourette's, Dyslexia, Speech & language, SPD, school refusal and exclusion.
